Sally Ringland
Currently, a Dance Educator for the Queensland Ballet's Education Program QBLEARN and qualified registered teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance. Sally holds a Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies, Diploma in Art - Majoring in Classical Ballet and Royal Academy Of Dance Solo Seal.
Sally was a member of Queensland Ballet's Professional Year Program Performing with Queensland Ballet's Don Quixote, Midsummer Nights Dream, Vis à Vis seasons, International Gala and Queensland Theatre Company's production of Romeo and Juliet at the Lyric Theatre. Sally spent several years entertaining audiences performing in international stage shows abroad and in Australia performing as Principal Dancer, Dance Captain, Adagio Act, Singer, Magician's Assistant and Aerialist.
Having broad knowledge across several dance styles has lead Sally to teach at several high profile dance institutions throughout Australia over the past ten years. Sally's attitude towards teaching is highly professional with attention to detail, encouraging the appreciation of dance, a sense of musicality, expression and self-confidence. Sally facilitates students in constantly seeking to expand their own learning and knowledge – encompassing an inclusiveness and enthusiasm that inspires students to explore what they can offer the dancing community and the world beyond.
