Redcliffe Eisteddfod is finished for the year, wrapping up with some wonderful results for our groups to add to the solos from last week! Look at these results! We have had some of our wonderful students from Brisbane Dance Centre performing solos at the Redcliffe Eisteddfod this week. We are very proud of all of you for competing so well. Giuditta, Tianja, Ainslea, Lucy and Liliana all performed in the Classical sections for their age group, with Giuditta also performing a gorgeous number in the Contemporary section. Liliana
Congratulations to this gorgeous Under 15’s team who have recently had another successful outing. After taking out first place in all 3 of their sections at Brisbane eisteddfod, they followed it up with a 1st in Classical, a 1st in Lyrical and a 3rd in Jazz! Well done to each and every one of you!!
Brisbane Dance Centre joined with our ADPI full time dance and musical theatre students for a night of group and solo performances on May 11, 2018. What a fantastic closing performance of Ballet Theatre of Queensland’s “Aladdin” where our senior students Montana Tomkyns (Jasmin), Hanna Chaki (the Carpet), Jane Horner (the Genie) and Krystal Guadry (The Scarab Beetle) along with Poppy, Mia, Erika, Taylor, Zoe, Samuel, Felicity, Annabelle and Stefanie danced superbly and I just felt so proud of them all. Ted Cooper attended, with permission of the Sayers Dance School, Brisbane Ballet School’s Excellence Programme during 2015. After his last performance with Ballet Theatre of Queensland tonight, he shortly will be travelling to Moscow to start training at the Bolshoi Ballet School. All of us from BBS, BDC and ADPI wish him great success and happiness on his next step
